WORKSHOP ON VEGETARIAN COOKING

How can one prepare traditional dishes in a healthier manner?
Healthy, tasty meals is the focus of this workshop, where good disposition, joy, desire to learn and savouring delicious healthy food are the main ingredients. Whether you are a super chef or do not even know how to cook pasta, this programme is for you.

  • Healthy Cooking – Practical Class II

This workshop is for all educators who seek to teach their children and youth how to:
 
  • Think for themselves in a balanced and positive way
  • Become responsible
  • Understand themselves and respect others
 
This innovative way of interacting with children and young people is filled with non-punitive methods based on mutual respect. It incorporates basic principles such as kindness and firmness in education.

WORKSHOP ON POSITIVE AND HEALTHY EDUCATION 
The 9-month LIFE COURSE, founded on a Christian perspective of life, faith and health, exposes the students to important principles in life and health while promoting their physical, mental, social and spiritual development.

Students learn how to recognize and prevent common health problems. The course includes classes in physiology, anatomy, prevention of common diseases, simple home-based treatments, massage, hydrotherapy, nutrition and vegetarian cooking, and organic farming. Students serve the community, in Portugal and abroad, through public health initiatives such as Health Expos and Children´s Health Expos.

Pharmaceutical medications certainly play a role in treating disease, but lifestyle habits such as nutritional food, physical activity, appropriate rest, healthy relationships, and faith are amongst the best health promoting agents we know.
